Linz – Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, 12:20 p.m
LASK is apparently about to transfer a defensive all-rounder.
Like the Hungarian football portal “nb1.hu” reported, Akos Kecskes is about to move to Linz. According to this, the 26-year-old central defender, who can also be used in defensive midfield, will undergo medical examinations on Wednesday and then sign a four-year contract.
The six-time Hungary international is currently under contract with Nizhny Novgorod, which expires in the summer of 2023. The 1.90 meter tall right footer played the full game in the first game of the season in the Russian Premier League on July 17 against Lok Moscow, but he was not in the squad against CSKA Moscow.
Kecskes was trained, among others, in the youth of Atalanta Bergamo, but was never able to assert himself there. After three loan spells at Ujpest FC, Termalica and Korona Kielce, FC Lugano snapped up in the summer of 2018. In July 2021, the Hungarian finally moved from Switzerland to Russia.
