“Everybody still hates Chris” is an animated remake of “Everybody hates Chris” from the mid-00s. The original series, a situation comedy that aired for four seasons on American television, has achieved cult status since its inception in 2005.
Deadline is now reporting that the new animated series has been picked up by streaming service Paramount+. Just like the original, it is based on the American comedian’s adolescence in Brooklyn’s working-class Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood in New York during the late 80s.
Chris Rock returns to act as narrator for the series.
