In Moscow, in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, a concert “Hit Parade of the USSR” will be held. The event was announced by ticketing services, including Ticketland, Redkassa, “Poster” and “Yandex.Afisha”.

The concert will take place on September 16 in the hall of church cathedrals of the temple. On the ticket sales sites it is noted that the organizer of the event is LLC Center for the Development of Culture. Soviet songs by Edita Piekha, Muslim Magomayev, Eduard Khil, Iosif Kobzon will be performed by participants in the TenorA of the 21st Century and Vegas projects, which include soloists from Moscow opera houses. Audiences from 6 years old will be allowed to attend the two-hour concert.

In the description of the event says:

“Do you remember what ice cream used to be delicious?”

“And what kind of movie they knew how to shoot …”

“Yes, and people then were somehow kinder, more sympathetic …”

A person born in the USSR has many reasons to indulge in nostalgia for a bygone era, but many attributes of Soviet life and culture, whatever one may say, are forever in the past. And yet, in spite of everything, some of them did not suffer this sad fate – for example, our favorite songs …

Perhaps there is no easier and faster way to travel back to the longed-for past than once again to get in touch with his music – light, soulful and incredibly catchy.

At the same time, tickets for the Hit Parade of the USSR cannot be bought. Aggregator websites either do not have such an opportunity, or they report that all tickets are sold out, or, like on official portal concert venue, it is proposed to leave a request for purchase.

Judging by the site of the hall of church cathedrals, the concert is held at least for the second time. Event with the same name took place on site June 10th.

The Cathedral of Christ the Savior was built in the 19th century after the victory in the Patriotic War of 1812. In 1931, under Soviet rule, the church building was destroyed. In its place, they planned to build the Palace of Soviets, but in the end, as reported on the website of the temple, “in 1958, in Khrushchev’s godless” thaw “, the Moskva pool appeared.” In the 1990s, the church building was recreated.

The Cathedral Hall was opened in 2000. How reported on the website of the site, meetings of Local and Bishops’ Councils, divine services, as well as music festivals, symphonic music concerts, performances of folk ensembles and conferences are held there.
