A group of residents of the eastern area demanded to speak with the defender and when they were refused, they entered the institution amidst jostling
a cconfusing incident led a group of residents, mostly natives and teachers, who broke the glass entrance door to the Offices of the Ombudsman, located on Via España.
The group demanded the presence of the Ombudsman, Eduardo Leblanc on the bridge over the Pacora Riverwhere units of the National Police remain, after the demonstrations of previous weeks.
The demonstrators wanted to present the situation to the defender, but they were denied entry to the offices, which caused inconvenience among the group that held a march for that purpose. Given the lack of response and the Ombudsman’s refusal to receive them, the group between jostling, broke the main entrance door to the institution.
After this incident, the Ombudsman went to where the incident had been registered, listened to the demonstrators and assured that he would go with his work team to the point of Pacora, indicated by the group.
Leblanc, before leaving, said that upon reaching the Pacora river he would try to speak with the units of 100,000a National Police stationed and with the director of Protect and Serve, Jaohn Dorheim to try to mediate the conflict.
Similarly, Leblanc assured that at the Dialogue for Panama single table, it was agreed to avoid road closures, that cause inconvenience to both drivers and users of public and selective transport services.
