In the Moscow region, the volume of exports increased by 71% in the first quarter of 2022

The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region reported that the volume of exports in the region in the first quarter of 2022 increased by 71% compared to the same period last year.

The online edition writes about it “Moscow region today”.

“In the first three months of this year, the Moscow region exported almost $3 billion worth of goods. This is 71% more than in the same period of 2021. The geography of deliveries covered 160 foreign countries,” commented Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.

According to her, China became the main export destination of the region during this period – 28.8% of the total export deliveries were sent there.

Previously NSN reported that Moscow exported NOE products worth $33.5 billion in 2021.
