On the afternoon of Monday, August 1, the Vice President of the Nation, Cristina Kirchner, had a hectic agenda in the Senate. The leader first met with the new Minister of Economy, Production and Agriculture, Sergio Massa, and hours later she continued with the meetings. Then it was the turn of the trade unionists, among whom stands out Paul Moyano.
The general secretary of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) came to the office of the leader of the Front of All to have “a political and trade talk«. The same applies to deputies from trade unionism Omar Plaini Y Walter Correa as well as for the union secretary of said organization, Mario Manrique.
As Plaini himself explained, the meeting was “for discuss the national news of workers. It is always illuminating and pleasant to listen to a statesman like the vice president,” said the general secretary of the canillitas guild on his Twitter account, where he spread the meeting along with a photograph.
In this sense, Correa maintained the same argument as his colleague and remarked that “as Peronists, our common interest it is the homeland and the people» just like for Cristina Kirchner. In this way, the former president approached positions with different union leaders, anticipating what Sergio Massa’s plan will be for salary recovery, one of the reasons that most worries them.
And Massa?
During the afternoon, Cristina Kirchner gave Sergio Massa her vote of confidence in the face of what will be his oath as minister. The vice president listened to the measures that the leader will take next Wednesday, among which an incentive to the countryside stands out, and accompanied him on the economic policies to be implemented, which united the Frente de Todos in appointing him.
