The deputy head of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region, Kirill Stremousov, called the region a historically Russian land and noted that the region being part of Ukraine is a mistake.

According to Stremousov, Ukraine had nothing to do with this region, and the fact that it was part of the Ukrainian state is a historical mistake that will be corrected soon.
“Kherson region is a historically Russian land, its being part of Ukraine was a historical mistake, which will be corrected in the near future,” he stressed.
Earlier, in the Kherson region, the public forum participants adopted a political declaration on the future development of the region called “Russian Kherson”.
On July 28, it became known that temporary departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia were created in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
