Panama was in group B of the U-15 Baseball World Championship, which will be played between August 26 and September 3 in Hermosillo, Mexico.

The national team, led by Audes De León, shares group B with Colombia, Japan and France.

There are two other groups. Group A is made up of Mexico, Taiwan, Cuba and the Czech Republic, while group C will be made up of the United States, South Africa, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Guam.

Panama opens on August 26 playing against Colombia, at the Héctor Espino stadium at 9:30 pm (Panama time).

On August 27, Panama meets Japan at 9:30 pm (Panama time). On August 28 he will be resting, to play on the 29th against France at the Héctor Espino stadium, also at 9:30 pm (Panama time). On the 30th he rests again.

The Super Round is scheduled to start on August 31.

The top two countries from each group will advance to the Super Round, in which each team will play a match against the qualified rivals from the other groups. Likewise, the record they obtained in the preliminary round with the other classified team in their group will be added.

Panama qualified for the World Cup in this category at the Pre-World Championship held in June in Valencia, Venezuela.

In this tournament, Panama shared with Venezuela the gold medal of the tournament, because the rain prevented the title match from ending.
