The head coach of the Russian national team and “Rostov” Valery Karpin criticized the law on fanID for inconsistency.

“We have because of the conduct fan-ID now one hundred percent will be a traffic problem. According to my feelings, attendance in Rostov-on-Don will drop by 50 percent. The second point – where is the sports principle? In Moscow, fans can come without fan-ID, fill the stadium, and five thousand people will come to Rostov instead of 20-30 thousand? Where is the equality? Or enter fan-ID in all cities, or nowhere, ”RB-Sport quotes Karpin.

We add that in addition to Rostov-on-Don, the “Fan ID” has been valid since the beginning of the season in Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara and Sochi.

Recall that the law on the introduction in Russia of a system of mandatory identification of spectators of sporting events was adopted at the end of 2021. According to it, each participant of the match, whether it be a fan, a football player, a club employee or an official, is obliged to issue a personalized card.
