Culiacán, Sinaloa.- The PRI asked the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) to clarify the origin of the 2.5 million pesos that the former mayor of Choix, Jose Lindolfo Reyes Gutierrezupon being arrested this Tuesday morning in the municipal seat by the National Guard, and that the origin of this money is known and any acts of corruption are ruled out.
The state president of Institutional Revolutionary Party, Cinthia Valenzuela Langarica said that Lindolfo Reyes was a candidate for the PRI in alliance with PVEM and Panal in 2018, seeking for the third time the municipal presidency of Choix and deserves that this process adheres to the fulfillment of justice.
He referred to the arrest of the former mayor with a significant amount of money in his possession, which he described as unusual for a person from the state to transfer him, and it is only necessary to verify the origin of the resource and what its objective was.
