Two days after the historic topper in Las Vegas, Chicago traveled to the West Coast for a game against Los Angeles Sparks.

From the throw-up, the defending champion dominated the game against the WNBA midfielder. After the first quarter, it was already 12-27 in Chicago’s favor.

Without having to go really deep, Meesseman and co. just through that line. At halftime, the victory was already in: 25-54.

After the break, Chicago took the foot off the accelerator to eventually win 59-82. Meesseman, who played only 18 minutes, finished with 11 points from 5 out of 7 attempts. She also picked up 4 rebounds and handed out 4 assists.

Allemand got a little more playing time than her fellow Belgian Cat. In 23 minutes on the parquet she did not score, but did hand out 6 assists. Teammate Candace Parker was the Woman of the Match against her former LA team for her third career “triple double” (10 points, 10 assists, 14 rebounds)

After a difficult start to the season, Chicago is gradually getting up to speed. It has won 8 of its last ten games and is now 2nd in the standings with 12 wins and 5 losses.
