The mayor of the capital, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, has announced that traveling on the buses of the Municipal Transport Company (EMT) will be free on June 28, 29 and 30 during the NATO Summit, despite the fact that the municipal government recommends not to travel unless it is strictly necessary.

During the NATO Summit, Metro de Madrid will reinforce lines 1, 5, 6 and 10, and if necessary, and according to demand, lines 4 and 9.
