The Rolling Stones are coming to Berlin after all: As the band around Mick Jagger announced, their tour will be extended by a date in Berlin.
Anyone who does not yet have a ticket for the current European tour of the cult band The Rolling Stones has an additional option: the old rockers around frontman Mick Jagger (78) will be performing an additional concert on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the Berlin Waldbühne of their “SIXTY Europe Tour”. Tickets are available in the pre-sale on Wednesday, June 29 from 12 noon. Regular ticket sales will also start on Friday, July 1st at 12 noon.
The concert in Berlin is also the conclusion of the current European tour for the 60th anniversary of the band. By the way: 57 years ago, in 1965, The Rolling Stones gave their first concert in the open-air location in Berlin’s Westend. Two more performances followed in 1982 and 2014. Around 20,000 visitors are expected there again in August, much more familiar than the other stadium concerts.
After the Munich concert, there will be a gig in Gelsenkirchen
The Stones made their first appearance in Germany during their current tour on June 5th in Munich’s Olympic Stadium. There are still tickets left for their second gig in Germany, on July 27th in Gelsenkirchen’s Veltins Arena. The next concerts will take place in London, Brussels, Vienna, Lyon and Paris. Between Gelsenkirchen and the final chord in Berlin, there is another performance in Stockholm.
