Graz – Thursday, June 23, 2022, 8:47 p.m

The Graz99ers are enticing Norwegian striker Viktor Granholm into the win2day ICE Hockey League, at least for the coming season.

The 25-year-old (pictured here in a CHL game against KAC 2019), who has played consistently in his home country, is moving from Frisk Asker to Murstadt. Last season he had 33 goals and 21 assists in 51 games for Norway.

The attacker, who is 180 cm tall and weighs 85 kg, also scored points in the Champions Hockey League (two goals, two assists). He also has four games under his belt for his national team.

“Personally, moving to Graz is a very good step for me. I want to help the team with my attacking style of play. I’ve talked to some ex-players and only heard positive things about the 99ers. And now I want to follow them with my goals up front,” said Granholm.

Current 99ers roster for the 2022-23 season:

Goal: Christian Engstrand (2022/23 +1), Nicolas Wieser (2022/23)

Defense: Erik Kirchschläger (2023/24), Michael Kernberger (2023/24), Mario Altmann (2022/23), Jacob Pfeffer (2022/23)
