The Belgian swimmers won’t break any pots at this World Swimming Championship in Budapest. On day 6, Louis Croenen stranded in the 100-meter butterfly in the heats, just like in the 200-meter.

Croenen clocked 53″38 in the 6th of 7 series, only good for the 36th total time. The Hungarian Kristof Milak signed for the top chrono (50″68) in the series. Only the top 16 qualified for tonight’s semifinals. The 28-year-old Croenen has a personal top time of 52″00 in the 100-meter butterfly, also the national record since April last year.
