Carolina Deslandes used social media this Thursday, June 23, to mark a very special date. The eldest son of the singer and Diogo Clemente, Santiagocelebrates its sixth anniversary, a date that it celebrated with the sharing of a set of photographs, accompanied by a moving text.
“I was born at 24, son. You can even say that this sentence doesn’t make sense, but believe me it does. We were both born on the 23rd of June 2016 and we walked into the world together – I full of questions, you full of answers. We learned to walk, to sleep together and to stay up late at night.
We learned to breastfeed. We learn to cry and we learn to laugh, as if we were the inventors of laughter and happiness. We learned life, and you taught me silence. You taught me that this thing with words is as extraordinary as it is lazy – it’s that people even know how to write love, but they don’t live it like you do”, started by writing the artist, in a text that moved her followers.
“In your silence I learned the world. I learned to say I love you with my eyes, thank you with my hands, stay with me with my arms and I learned eternity. In your silence I learned to smell flowers, to smell food and even people’s skin. I learned that we can flip through the same book 50 times. I learned the music. In your silence I learned that if we spent more time looking into each other’s eyes, life would have more certainty than anguish. I learned in your eyes that what we say to each other is not word of mouth, but heart to heart. And I learned the time”continued.
“Your time is yours. It is not of any expectation, of any calendar, of any race. Your time is the only thing that moves me – there are no hours, there are no delays. You arrive at your destination when you want, you don’t prepare for life, it prepares for you. I was born at 24 years old. Thank you for choosing me to be born and to learn love with you. And for you to sing that is for life. And since all life is not enough, we will be born every time someone sings to us, son. Congratulations my love”concluded Carolina Deslandes.
