This Wednesday afternoon, the governor of Chihuahua, Maru Campos, announced that the bodies of the Jesuit priests were located and the guide tourists murdered and disappeared in the past June 20th, in the community Cerocahui of the Sierra Tarahumara.

“Today, thanks to an extraordinary effort by the State Prosecutor’s Office, commanded by Master Roberto Fierro, we have managed to locate and recover -verified by forensic medicine-, the bodies of the Jesuit priests Javier Campos, of Joaquín Mora , and the tourist guide Pedro Palma”, the president expressed in a video, without giving more information.

THEY OFFER A REWARD TO THOSE WHO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO FIND A SUSPECTED MURDERER

The authorities of the Chihuahua Prosecutor’s Office this day they offered a reward of 5 million pesos for whoever provides reliable information that helps to find the whereabouts of the alleged murderer, nicknamed “The Chueco”.

Federal and state authorities chihuahua identified as one of the material authors of the homicide of the Jesuit priests Javier Campos and Joaquín Mora to José Noriel Portillo Gil, alias “El Chueco”, head of a cell of assassins and drug traffickers at the service of Los Salazar, a criminal group that is part of the Sinaloa cartel.
