Zenit defeated the club “Paris Nizhny Novgorod” with a score in the opening match of the pre-season tournament Cup PARI Premier.

On the goal of the Brazilian striker Filipe Malcom (31st minute), Nizhny Novgorod responded with an accurate blow from defender Kirill Gotsuk (40).

The winner was determined in a penalty shoot-out, where the players of the current champions of the country were more accurate – 5:3.

Note that the head coach of “Zenith” Sergei Semak put on a series of third goalkeeper David Byarzov, who repelled one shot from the penalty mark.

According to the rules of the tournament, Zenit earned one point, and Pari NN remained with zero in the standings.

Both teams will play their next matches at the tournament against Sochi. The Blue-White-Blues will face Bars on June 25 in the second game of the Cup PARI Premier and Pari NN will play the second team of last season on 1 July.
