Wing midfielder “Zenith” Zelimkhan Bakaev shared his emotions from his move to the St. Petersburg club.
Recall that earlier the 25-year-old football player left Spartak due to the expiration of the contract. Thus, he joined the Blue-White-Blues as a free agent, signing a three-year contract with the possibility of an extension for another season.
– Moving to a big club with a history is a very crucial moment in my life, in my career. I will not hide that I was worried, what and how it will happen. But right now I’m happy and at peace. This is a serious challenge. My transition will definitely go down in history, – Bakaev is quoted by the “Championship”.
Recall that Bakaev is a graduate of the Spartak Academy. Last season, he played 35 matches for the red-and-whites, scored three goals and gave six assists.
As part of the Russian national team, the midfielder played 12 meetings (1 goal).
