A week after stopping the heart of their baby with Down syndrome, Shanna Kress and Jonathan Matijas seem to want to come back to life. A choice that is unfortunately not unanimous with their community.

Shanna Kress and Jonathan Matijas just had a nightmarish moment. As the couple were expecting twins, an exam detected that one of the babies was trisomy 21 carrier. Death in the soul, the future parents then made the choice tostop their little boy’s heart with a disability. A week ago, the singer underwent an abortion.

The duo must now to mourn Christopher while continuing to cherish the baby growing in the young woman’s womb. In order to get out of their “little bubble of sadness”, the couple decided to afford a few days of vacation. But this little getaway is not to everyone’s taste.

Slowly come back to life

Despite the hardships, Shanna Kress and Jonathan Matijas are more united than ever. After going through the worst, the couple flew away for a brief stay by the sea. This Monday, June 20, the pretty brunette explained on Instagram that she had to “stay strong and positive” for her baby.

In order to experience the end of her pregnancy as peacefully as possible, the singer wishes get rid of “all negative energy” how her fetus might feel. And while some criticize her for “finding a smile too quickly”, the influencer specifies that she has never lost it.

Marked for life by what she has just suffered

If she admits that she “re-sings”, “smiles” and “laughs”, Shanna Kress is not not unscathed though. She admits feeling a immense pain in his “body”, in his “belly” and this “every day”, “all the time”. With great wisdom, the artist specifies that sometimes, “accepting a situation does not mean forgetting it but only moving forward”.

Words crying out with truth which unfortunately did not silence the gossips. Several people have criticized the couple for having mourned their baby much too quickly.
