Zamora.- This Tuesday, June 21, a man whose identity is still unknown shot dead eight people and wounded at least four more in the municipalities of Jacona and Zamora, in Michoacán, to later end up dead after an exchange of bullets with the State Police.
The first investigations of the Attorney General of the State of Michoacán (FGE) indicated that it was around 4:35 p.m. (local time) when the subject arrived at a mechanical workshop in the Miguel Hidalgo neighborhood, municipality of Jacona, and took his life. of his first two victims, both men.
As you can already imagine, this was not the typical ambush of a large group of people, but a tour with stops at different locations.
After escaping from his first attack, in the same neighborhood, he stole a Nissan Tiida model car and murdered the owner along with another person. At least one person was reported injured in this attack. With them they would add four people killed.
For this moment the State Police He already had the report of what happened and started the search. For his part, the now deceased continues his journey to the municipality of Zamora, Michoacán, where he shot and killed a repair shop worker and injured a man and a woman. Shortly after he ended the life of a flower shop employee.
His last two victims were men who were in a business dedicated to fodder, one of them was found outside and another inside the premises. With this pair, they added eight homicides in different areas of Jacona and Zamoraall in a short period of time.
In that place the officers caught up with him, who began an exchange of bullets and shot down the person responsible. Two state police officers from Michoacán ended up injured.
A firearm was seized from the subject and the corpse was protected pending the arrival of investigators and experts from the FGE, who carried out the corresponding tasks.
