Branimir Cipetic will not switch to SK Rapid Vienna.
The Green-Whites oppose the report by the Croatian medium “Sportklub”, according to which the deal failed due to a reduced offer from Vienna LAOLA1 return. The transfer failed, therefore, neither because of a financial question nor because of a breach of Rapid’s word. The actual reasons are not publicly stated.
Cipetic had previously told the medium that the sum offered was suddenly lower than originally agreed shortly before the contract was signed (read HERE>>>).
The Bosnian from Lokomotiva Zagreb, who has mainly worked in Croatia and Spain, is said to have completed a medical check-up in Vienna last week. Now Rapid is still looking for a right-back, especially since Reinhold Ranftl, another rumored candidate, seems to be moving to Austria of all places (read HERE>>>).
