The captain of the Argentine national team, Lionel Messi, arrived in Rosario today to spend his vacations after the successful tour with the national team, with which he closed the season.
The man from Rosario landed this morning, after 8:30, at the Rosario International Airport “Islas Malvinas”, in his private plane.
The “10” traveled with Rosario Ángel Di María and Giovani Lo Celso, and Rodrigo De Paul also joined, who after completing immigration procedures, took a flight to Buenos Aires.
The four footballers closed their 2021/22 season with the tour they made with the Argentine national team in Europe.
The squad led by Lionel Scaloni had two weeks of preparation for the 2022 Qatar World Cup in Bilbao and played two games: the “Finalissima” against Italy (3-0) last Wednesday in London; and the 5-0 win in the friendly against Estonia, played on Sunday in Pamplona.
The “Scaloneta”, with the undefeated record of 33 games, will meet again in September.

At the airport, Messi was waiting for his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, accompanied by their children, who arrived in Rosario last week.
The captain of the “albiceleste” will spend a few days on vacation at his home located in Country Kentucky, in the city of Funes, located about 15 kilometers from downtown Rosario.
Messi has a house there, close to that of his in-laws, in a country to the west of Greater Rosario inhabited by some former players such as the former coach of Rosario Central, Cristian “Kily” González; and the coach of the U-20 team, Javier Mascherano, among others.
