The celebration of the Canarian football derby between CD Tenerife and UD Las Palmas yesterday on the occasion of the first round of promotion to the Santander League of the First Division was held without any noteworthy incident, thanks to the good work of the police device and the good atmosphere between both hobbies.

More than 150 police officers

From the early hours of the afternoon until long after the end of the meeting, a total of more than 150 police units were deployed from the provincial police stations of Tenerife and Gran Canaria, made up of members of the IPU, UPR, the Information Brigade, aerial media with the participation of the Condor device and the drones of the ASPA callsign.

All of them ensured the safety of all those attending the aforementioned match, which concluded on the field with a 1-0 result in favor of Tenerife and in police terms with a total of seven administrative sanction proposals, four by the Organic Law 4/ 2015 of the protection of citizen security, and three by Law 19/2007 against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport, specifically for the introduction of alcoholic beverages and uttering racist insults to members of rival fans.
