Frankfurt – Wednesday, May 25, 2022, 11:28 a.m

Martin Hinteregger should have made his decision and clarified his foreseeable future.

Although the ÖFB defender has been linked in the media with a departure from German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, he is likely to have extended his contract with the Hessians. At least that’s what the German reports “picture“.

According to this, the 29-year-old Frankfurt fan favorite and trainer Oliver Glasner is said to have met on Tuesday and discussed fulfilling Hinteregger’s contract with Frankfurt, which runs until 2024.

An official confirmation from the club is still pending.

Hinteregger moved to Frankfurt on loan from FC Augsburg in January 2019 and has been a permanent fixture in the “Adlers” since August 2019. The defender has now scored 14 goals and provided six assists in 137 games in all competitions for Eintracht.
