And it is that his cat, who had been brought from the Ukraine to the island to keep him away from the war, has been lost and they seek help to find him.

After the drama that they have gone through when they had to leave their country due to the Russian invasion, a couple of Ukrainian grandparents in Tenerife feared yesterday that they would be separated from their cat, which is part of their family, since the hotel where they stay and other from around refused to accept that the feline stayed with them.

However, today, Sunday, we have learned that the cat has disappeared in the northern municipality of El Rosario, specifically, in the area of La Esperanza.

Apparently, the animal moved from Puerto de la Cruz, where they are staying in a hotel, to La Esperanza, along with its translator and in search of a temporary foster home. In that displacement, the animal has disappeared.

For these Ukrainian grandparents, their cat is their great faithful friend, an indispensable part of their family that they did not want to leave behind in the war. In fact, they did not hesitate to bring their cat with them after the invasion and it is now, once they are staying in a hotel on the Island, when they find that animals are not allowed to enter.

For all these reasons, yesterday they asked for urgent help to find a foster home for this cat, which, they specified, they were not going to give up for adoption since it is very important to them.

“They want to get their cat back when they can get a home, of course,” they reported from the Tenerife Animalist Brigadeafter the Red Cross informed them of this painful setback suffered by two elderly people who had to leave practically everything behind due to the war

The cat has been lost in La Esperanza, near Rancho D Steffano, so anyone who sees the cat in this area can get in touch by calling 722885510 or 607583219.

We remember that for the elderly Ukrainian refugee couple, finding their cat in Tenerife is very important, since they traveled with him fleeing from the war and traveled 5,000 kilometers, they have struggled to find him a home and now they are facing this setback.

Now that we have put into context the situation that these two Ukrainian grandparents are going through in Tenerife, we want to specify the ways to help. Specifically, what they What they need is for someone to offer to welcome their cat into their homeand only that, since the food and sand would be provided by the Tenerife Animalist Brigade.

“These people with their age have had to live through a war, flee their homes, leave their families behind… Shall we help them in what we know how to do best?”, they propose from the non-profit association dedicated to caring for and give up animals, mostly dogs and cats.

On the other hand, since the hotel in which these Ukrainian grandparents are staying is in the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, the ideal is that the people who offer to host their little feline reside in the northern part of the Island. Although now, the priority is to find your cat in Tenerife.
