In the midst of the strong controversy caused by the prosecutor’s decision to accept the donation of 1.6 million pesos to an institution linked to the field of health, offered by President Alberto Fernández in the cause for the celebration of the birthday of the first lady at the Olivos Residence, in 2020, when the sanitary measures ordered by the coronavirus pandemic did not allow it, the official spokesperson, Gabriela Cerruti, argued that it is a way to “compensate” for something that “was a mistake, that it was wrong ”.
“It is a cause that it is good that it ends in some way, that the President and the first lady, Fabiola Yañez, have agreed on compensation,” Cerruti said yesterday when answering questions in the stories of his account on the social network Instagram.
This week, the federal prosecutor of San Isidro Fernando Domínguez requested the approval of the proposal made by the Head of State, which commits the payment of 1.6 million pesos as comprehensive reparation for the damage caused and which must be allocated to the National Administration of Laboratories and Institutes of Health “Dr. Carlos G. Malbran”.
The prosecutor presented his agreement before the federal judge of San Isidro Lino Mirabelli, who must decide whether to approve the agreement.
