After holding the first public hearing on the issue of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) in 50 years, United States States revealed that it is a serious phenomenon, since it is possible and they constitute a “potential threat” for national security.
The hearing was held at the House Intelligence Subcommittee, where Andre Carsona Democrat from Indiana and chairman of the panel, warned that “unidentified aerial phenomena are a potential threat, and they must be treated as such”.

On the other hand, he also accepted that the stigma associated with UFOs “has gotten in the way of good intelligence analysis. The pilots avoided reporting, or were laughed at when they did. Department of Defense officials relegated the issue to the back room, or hid it altogether, fearful of a skeptical national security community”.
Still, he was right and there is no proof or explanation about certain Unidentified Flying Objects, however, “it is a fact that they are real; you have to investigate them and mitigate any threat they pose”. Meanwhile, Scott Bray, deputy director of Naval Intelligence, revealed images and videos where alleged UFOs are sighted.

One of them was shown with a triangular shape; Bray explained that the tape would have been recorded by the personnel of the Marine of the United States, where they capture “flashing trianglesfor several years, on the coast of the United States.”
Ronald MoultryUnder Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security, said that the term UFO or UAP, for its acronym in English, can refer to “airborne objects that cannot be immediately identified when encountered”.
For this reason, Democrats and Republicans affirmed that it should be taken as a serious issue; don’t write it off as a science fiction problem. Among them, Rick Crawfordfrom Arkansas, landed that “the intelligence community has a serious duty to our taxpayers of prevent powerful adversaries like China and Russia from surprising us with unforeseen new technologies”.
“This committee has an obligation to understand what it is doing to determine whether or not any UAP is a new technology – and if it is, where does it come from?”, he communicated.
Treating it as a matter of possible extraterrestrials is that in official reports it has not been denied that it is, since it is taken as a possibility. This, because in June of last year, the Pentagon reported knowledge of at least 144 sightingssince 2004 and only one could be explained.
