Apple just released another Trailer for the third season of ‘For All Mankind’ (For All Humanity), his series in which an alternative space race is recounted starting with the USSR winning the race to the Moon in 1969.
There is a new rival to reach Mars
In the trailer we can see how this space race has continued after the advances of the alternative decade of the eighties, in which there is already a permanent lunar base and now the main objective is to be the first to reach Mars.
But not only the United States and the Soviet Union will be in this race: the private company also wants to have its position in the goal. And therefore we are introduced to a certain Dev Ayesa, CEO of the company Helios who becomes a kind of Elon Musk who also wants to conquer the red planet.
In the video it is already warned a huge space station and spaceships that in our reality are still far from being able to be done, but that in the nineties of this alternative history they are already the most normal thing in the world. We also see how our protagonists begin to notice their age, with gray hair and canes to help them walk.
It looks like the fans of the alternative histories (or uchronias) we are going to enjoy this new season wonderfully. We can start to see this new season of ‘For All Mankind’ on friday june 10.
