“At Artyom’s age, it’s hard to play at a high level. It is natural that the younger Sergeev displaces the more experienced Dziuba. Sergeev has the right qualities to play in the first team. He’s a hitter. Something reminiscent of Kerzhakov, ”quotes Bystrov “Match TV”.

In his opinion, if Zenit plays two forwards, then a third striker in the person of Dzyuba would not hurt. At the same time, Bystrov found it difficult to answer the question whether the 33-year-old striker would sign a new contract with a team from St. Petersburg or leave for a European club.

“But then it’s important what the offer from the club will be, what appetites Artem has. Will he take a pay cut? Lots of factors. And let’s be objective: they leave for Europe when they are in optimal shape, and not when you are already ending your career, ”he concluded.

Dziuba scored 11 goals and made five assists in 26 matches of the Russian Premier League (RPL) of the 2021/22 season.

Recall that the General Director of “Crvena Zvezda” Zvezdan Terzic said that the Serbian club plans to sign a contract with the Russian striker.

The striker himself does not plan to renew the contract with the St. Petersburg club. Dzyuba’s current agreement with Zenit expires in the summer of 2022.

Earlier, the former president of Spartak Moscow, Andrey Chervichenko, reacted to information about the possible transfer of Dzyuba to Red Star.
