They certify personnel of the Municipal Court of Justice in conflict resolution

The president of the Court, Martha Rodríguez Romero, explained that it is a legal certificate that is issued with a registration number to the 3 facilitators who were trained regarding the coordination of medication, who seek practicality and alternative means of solution to be more decisive. and take measures also in the prevention of crime escalation.

He pointed out that in this sense, when there is a community conflict, it is dealt with in the first instance through this mediation to achieve a common agreement between the parties and resolve the problem.

Some of the cases that are received the most are those that have to do with community problems such as a fence that is raised, the humidity caused by the neighbor’s house, excessive noise and invasion of garage space.

Thus, it is intended that they see this situation with the facilitators and reach an agreement by convention, significantly reducing the resolution time, avoiding entering one of the procedural courts.

Rodríguez Romero indicated that it is with these “MASC”, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, that faster justice can be achieved, in which he clarified it also has to do fundamentally with the will of the parties involved to accept and abide by the agreement.

He explained that 3 mediation attempts are made, of which if there is no favorable response, then the case is transferred to the courts again.

At the moment, with respect to the number of complaints received for procedural courts, 3 facilitators are sufficient, but if the demand increases, more personnel will continue to be certified.

On the other hand, the official commented that as a result of the meetings that the Municipal Court of Justice has had with the Collegiate, there is no delay in the files and it was possible to conclude them.
