Problems in Unidad Independiente, the main opposition group to Hugo Moyano in Independiente. After Fabián Doman met and signed a document that shows a principle of agreement between all the lists, including that of the leader of Truckers, the TV host’s running mates came out to express themselves against what happened.
“Independent Unit does not adhere to and ignores the document signed and promoted by the Official Party and the Independent Traditional and People of Independent groups at the Libertadores de América stadium yesterday,” assured the writing that is signed by Cristian Ritondo, the mayor of Lanús Néstor Grindetti and the journalist Juan Marconi, among other members of the group.
“Personal initiatives do not reflect the thought of Independent Unit”they added, leaving Doman offside and maintaining that he cut himself off in this meeting and agreeing with Moyano.

Another problem for Hugo Moyano: the treasurer Atilio Bouza presented his resignation to the position in the Directive Commission of Independiente. The leader argued for his departure because he did not find an answer for being “in disagreement over various situations” that he had expressed to the president and the secretary general, Héctor Maldonado, in a meeting last November. “Since in none of those cases there were satisfactory solutions or answers, I have made this painful decision,” he wrote in his exit.
He is the third person to leave that position since Moyano took the reins of the club in 2014; the first was Liliana Toribio and the second Fabio Fernández, who left in 2018 because the amount to pay to buy the Ecuadorian Fernando Gaibor seemed excessive (4,200,000 dollars for 70% of the pass).
This was learned the same day Moyano met with the two opposition leaders, Fabián Doman and Claudio Rudecindo, in pursuit of unity in a call for elections after the postponement ordered by the Justice.
