Boca striker Sebastián Villa was denounced again for gender-based violence in a case that could be classified as sexual abuse and attempted murder.
It was due to an event that occurred in June 2021, for which a girl with whom the Colombian soccer player from Boca had a relationship at that time, went to court assuring that Villa raped her and hit her: “At one point I thought he intended kill me,” he said. The complaint was made yesterday in the Courts of Lomas de Zamora.
Villa, who in principle was going to be the starter today against Racing, until the closing of the edition continued to be part of the concentrates of the Boca squad, who were already in a hotel in the City of Buenos Aires waiting for the duel against the Academy .
Meanwhile, the club authorities define the steps to follow based on the significance that the complaint made against the player took on in the media and with the protocol that Boca has for this type of situation. The institution has a Protocol against gender violence, which until last night had not been activated since the same marks that it must take action when the club is formally notified by the justice of a complaint against a player. That hadn’t happened yet.
