Publico announced the arrest of the house of Abramovich worth 10 million euros in Portugal

On March 25, the Portuguese authorities, at the request of the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, seized the house of businessman Roman Abramovich worth 10 million euros, located in the Algarve in the south of the country. This is reported by the local publication Publico.

The property is located in Quinta do Lago, which is one of the wealthiest communities in the Algarve.

According to the publication, in February, Millhouse Views LLC, owned by Abramovich’s investment holding, tried to sell this house to a British citizen.

On May 7, it was reported that the Chelsea management agreed with a consortium of American businessman Todd Boeli on the terms for the sale of the club by Roman Abramovich. As it became known, the new owner will spend on the acquisition of shares of 2.5 billion pounds. The funds will be placed in a frozen bank account in the UK in order to fully transfer them to charity.
