Tula region to host international military film festival

The Ozerov International Military Film Festival will be held in the Tula Region. On Friday, May 13, Interfax reports with reference to the press service of the regional government.

The event will be held at 25 venues from 16 to 21 May and will be timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad. In total, the program will include more than 70 films about the war.

“The geography of screenings will also expand – films will be seen even in remote corners of the Tula region. As before, all screenings and events for viewers will be free,” the government explained.

In particular, as part of the main program of feature films, viewers will be able to see the films The Pilot, Wings Over Berlin, Sky, Eleven Silent Men, Crossing the Yalu River, Private Chaerin, Learning Fruits, “Cold Gold” and others. In addition, thematic master classes from famous Russian actors will be held during the festival.

The military film festival is held in the Tula region for the eighth time.
