The Buenos Aires Senate approved a project to declare Esteban Bullrich an illustrious citizen

The Chamber of Senators of the province of Buenos Aires today approved and turned over to the Chamber of Deputies a project that proposes declaring former national senator Esteban Bullrich an illustrious citizen.

In this sense, the project highlights that Estaban Bullrich “battled forcefully for his principles and ideals in all the spaces where he has worked, however, it is likely that his greatest battle is the one he recently began to wage against a disease very complex called Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)”.

“Esteban Bullrich has all the merits to be declared with the highest recognition of the province of Buenos Aires” said Juan Pablo Allan, the author of the initiative.

Along these lines, he mentioned “his career in public life, for his commitment to political dialogue and because he has decided to create a foundation to combat and mitigate the disease that he and many Argentines suffer from, ALS”, referring to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis .

In December 2021, Bullrich formalized his resignation from the national senator due to difficulties in speech and mobility, as a result of his illness.
