In a post on Instagram, the Berlin fashion label “Wayks” reported that a customer had pointed out that Tchibo in Berlin was selling a bag that looked very similar to the one from “Wayks”. “After looking at her photos, we had to agree: they looked amazingly similar to our product,” the post continued.

Tchibo comments on allegations
When this editor asked Tchibo, however, the answer was: “Tchibo offers over 5,000 products from a wide variety of subject areas every year. We follow trends, let ourselves be inspired and develop our own products from them.
There may be similarities with other items. But harming other companies by copying their products is not in line with our business principle.
