Belgium, Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Poland, Finland, Estonia, Australia, Sweden, Romania and Serbia. They had the objective of achieving the pass and they have fulfilled in a second semifinal of Eurovision that was not easy, one of the most open in memory. These ten countries join the other ten that qualified last Tuesday, that is, Switzerland, Armenia, Iceland, Lithuania, Portugal, Norway, Greece, Ukraine, Moldova and the Netherlands. The twenty will compete for the precious glass microphone in the final on Saturday, May 14, along with the Big Five countries (Spain, United Kingdom, Italy, France and Germany).

Despite having technical difficulties during rehearsals, nobody doubted the pass of the ‘almighty’ Sweden, in this 2022 represented by Cornelia Jakobs with ‘Hold Me Closer’, an intense ballad based on the life of the singer herself. Problems were not expected for Konstrakta, flag bearer of Serbia, who has entered the jury and the public singing ‘In Corpore Sano’, a song that claims the public health of the Balkan country.

The candidates from Poland and the Czech Republic, although with a lower profile, also had a place practically assured in the last litmus test of the festival. Krystian Ochmann and We Are Domi have slipped into the group of 25 finalists who will perform on Saturday. The first is in the ‘Top 10’ of the bets and made an impact, both for better and for worse, with his rehearsals at the Pala Alpitour Turinés.
