Financial institution deals with strike by employees, who want 27% increase and restructuring of careers
Municipality said it canceled draft due to ‘inconsistencies in the text’
THE central bank (BC) sent this Thursday, 12, a draft to the Ministry of Economy requesting a salary readjustment of 22% for analysts and technicians of the institution, which has had problems due to a strike started on April 1st. Shortly after, however, the municipality withdrew the draft of the System for the Generation and Processing of Official Federal Government Documents (Sidof) – according to the Bank, due to ‘inconsistencies in the text’. In the draft, the BC also asked for higher education courses to be required for admission to the position of technician, the change in the name of the position from analyst to auditor, it proposed the creation of a productivity bonus, a supervision fee and a new table remuneration for reinstated CLT employees. So far, the federal government has indicated a 5% increase for civil servants in all categories, which has caused great dissatisfaction; BC employees, on strike, ask for a 27% readjustment and career restructuring.
