Yesterday, on the first date of the 75-kilogram category, the weight in which Bylon fights, the Polish Agata Kaczmarska defeated Kimberly Gittens of Barbados by unanimous decision.
With this victory, Kaczmarska will be Bylon’s rival in the round of 16 this Saturday, May 14.
The boxer from Isthmus passed ‘Bye’ the first round, so she had to wait until yesterday to meet her first opponent in the tournament.

Bylon, who has been at the World Cup headquarters for several days, has been working with members of the Colombian team, who have helped her carry out sparring rounds to stay active for when her turn comes in the competition.
