In settlements near Mariupol, the area of alleged mass graves has increased in recent weeks, according to Schemes – a project “Radio Liberty”.
In the village of Stary Krym, the length of the territory allegedly reserved for mass graves increased from 24 April to 8 May from 200 meters to 340 meters, journalists say. The trenches in this settlement were noticed in the picture from March 24th.
Also, the area of alleged burials increased in the village of Vinogradnoye. The fact that the Russians continue to bring the bodies of the dead there, informed May 9 and the Mariupol City Council.
According to Ukrainian authorities, 20-25 thousand civilians were killed in Mariupol during the Russian invasion. Project Schemes has uncovered several suspected mass grave sites in the vicinity of the city.
