A New York court fined former US President Donald Trump $110,000 for the days on which he turned out to provide documents requested by the judicial authority. This is reported by CNN.
A judge in New York overturned a contempt judgment against Trump, subject to certain conditions, and ordered him to pay a $110,000 fine.
The ex-president received a penalty for failure to comply with the instructions to provide the requested documents, the TV channel notes. The court also demanded to study the practice of destroying documents in the Trump Organization and study the remaining papers until May 20.
On April 29, it was reported that Donald Trump would continue to pay a $10,000 daily fine for contempt of court. The decision was made on April 25 at the request of State Attorney General Letitia James. Earlier, she demanded that the politician provide documents on his financial activities.
