Last February, Calviño already warned that he would not “take a picture” or “participate in a debate” in which “it was the only woman“. “There are many events in which I am the only woman because I am the minister,” she lamented at the time.
The first vice president has kept her word this Tuesday and at the entrance of the event organized by the Madrid Business Confederation CEIM-CEOE, Calviño has announced that she would not pose in the photograph when she realized that she was the only woman who was part of it. “I’m really sorry. We should have talked about it,” lamented the government’s economic head.
However, at the end of his participation in the event and with the presence of the general secretary of CEIM, Sarah millerthe vice president has agreed to pose for the official photograph of the forum.
