The mayor of the Ukrainian city of Irpin spoke about the arrival of Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau

On May 8, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited Irpin in the Kyiv region of Ukraine. This was announced by the mayor of the city Alexander Markushin on his Facebook page. He noted that Irpin is counting on the help of the Canadian prime minister in restoring infrastructure.

“I hope for the support of Mr. Justin Trudeau in organizing the efforts of the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada to restore infrastructure facilities in Irpen,” writes Markushin.

According to him, the city will soon send official requests to Canada with this request.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Kyiv was preparing a provocation with staged filming in the city of Irpen. According to the head of the National Defense Control Center of Russia, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, it was for this purpose that a curfew and a blockade of the city were introduced, with only representatives of law enforcement agencies and “incomprehensible volunteers” allowed to enter.
