Councilor Felisa Nieve, councilor for the city of La Quiaca, participated in a session of the Deliberative Council disguised as a dog to claim the treatment of an ordinance project for the castration of stray dogs.

Nieve also displayed a sign that read “A dog is better castrated than 100 wandering.” To everyone’s surprise, the mayor explained the reason: she seeks to avoid delaying the treatment of an ordinance project that regulates the population balance of pets.

“I wanted to represent all the little street people in my city asking for massive castration because we have many little animals on the street,” he said, in radio statements.
