The majority of the Ukrainian Army is made up of men. Men are forced to fight Russian invaders to defend their country, but that doesn’t mean women are safe. They are other victims, used as objects in wars, raped and murdered.
This Russian invasion of Ukraine was not going to get rid of these heinous crimes. Ukraine has found the bodies of several naked women on a roadside ditch near Kyiv. They were raped and then killed. In addition, the Russian soldiers later tried to burn their corpses.
Ukrainian authorities accuse Russians of engaging in targeted sexual violence against Ukrainian women and girls. This was denounced by the member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Olexiy Goncharenkoin a video published on their social networks.

For his part, the mayor of Irpin, Oleksander Markushin, has denounced that the women and girls of the town have been shotand has declared Deutsche Welle which have then been run over by Russian tanks.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kulebahas stressed in a video message posted on Twitter, that the faster the Ukrainian Army can “liberate” the territories occupied by Russia, the more Human Rights will be respected there.
“The women will not be raped. Children will not have to watch their mothers being raped. Civilians will not be killed », Kuleba asserted, adding that Ukraine needs support to achieve this:« We need weapons, now », she stressed.
