The 2022 digital census page, which INDEC launched this year to complete online until May 18, was collapsed in the first hours of its debut due to the influx of users.

In social networks, several people reported the impossibility of accessing the website where the data is completed (https://digital.censo.gob.ar/#/). Other users, who were able to start the process, warned that they could not finish it due to inconveniences in some instance of the process.

Unlike previous years, the 2022 census can be carried out in two different modalities: on the one hand, the face-to-face survey can be answered; and on the other hand, people will be able to “self-census” through an official website.

To carry out this last virtual census process, you just have to have a tablet, a cell phone or a computer with a WiFi connection.

On May 18, the census takers, who will be about 600,000 and will be identified with a bib, will have an identification card and a QR code so that their condition can be verified and avoid inconveniences during visits to homes. That day, those who have completed the form online will be asked for the receipt that proves the digital procedure.
