We recommend you: WhatsApp: What happens to the account of a deceased person?

WhatsApp allows you to create groups with up to 256 participants, who can share messages, photos, videos, audios and files. However, there are times when we need that in group chat just be the admins who can write, upload content and have access to the application tools.

To configure a group with these characteristics, you just have to follow these steps:

  1. Open the group in which you want to implement this configuration
  2. Tap on the group subject or long press on the group name from the “Chats” tab
  3. Follow this path: group info > Group Settings
  4. in the option Send messages Choose Admins only
  5. Hit accept and done

In this way, only the administrators of the group will be the ones who will be able to send messages. To reverse this configuration, the same steps must be followed, but now selecting the option All participants.
