Make me up again Chilean screenwriter Guillermo Calderón’s debut film already has protagonists: it is Ilse Salas (girls well), Paulina Gaitan (guardian devil) and Regina Blandon (Cindy the Regal).
This comedy, which will begin filming on May 2, will be set between the adventures that arise when planning a wedding. The filming will take place in Mexico City, where various locations will be used to set the scene for “the most important day in a person’s life” in contrast to that of the makeup artists. In addition, it will touch on topics such as friendship, human relationships, forgiveness and solidarity between friends.
Synopsis
The film introduces us to Alexandra, who reappears in the lives of Ana and Rita to offer them work as makeup artists at a wedding. What they don’t know is that Alexandra is going through one of her -already known- love crises. Furthermore, she has the ability to involve them in each and every one of her entanglements. The truth is that Ana and Rita are bankrupt, so they desperately need the money; so the only way out they will have is to try to rescue Alexandra without going crazy trying.

Regarding her participation in the film, Ilse Salas mentions:
“When they invited me to do this project and they told me that Guillermo Calderón was going to direct it, I was immediately moved because Guillermo is the one who wrote, among many other things, The club by Pablo Larrain.
For his part, director Guillermo Calderón affirms that his comedy will have a different starting point than the rest:
“In this case, the comedy is going to be built from the drama, from a group of friends who have to reunite after a long separation to work together again. They struggle to get ahead but they can’t.
It is worth mentioning that Calderón will make his directorial debut in Mexico and not in Chile, his native country. Given this, it states what:
“It is a great responsibility to place it in Mexico, but we trust that we know a lot about the country because we have been educated (in Chile) by Mexican popular culture.”
