Only at the weekend did Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel emphasize that they would like to drive in Germany again. Actually, the chances didn’t seem promising. After all, both Hockenheim and the Nürburgring had repeatedly emphasized that the entry fee was too big an obstacle.
Formula 1: Negotiations between Germany and FIA are ongoing
But apparently Germany is very interested in an F1 comeback. The RTL expert and former racing driver Christian Danner has now revealed that negotiations are already underway.
“The initiative has long been taken to get this Grand Prix done instead of driving in Germany in Russia,” said Christian Danner on the Sport1 program “AvD Motor & Sport Magazin”. Both the Hockenheimring and the Nürburgring are possible venues.
